Yes, Please! Almost everyone loves chocolate candy. And it makes a delightful gift that leaves a very favorable lasting impression with the recipient.
Young and old, male or female, friend or stranger - all are impressed with a delicious gift of chocolate candy. It warms the heart for both the giver and the receiver.
When you are invited to someone’s home for the first time, bringing a gift of chocolate is a nice heartwarming introduction.
You can choose from milk chocolate, white chocolate, dark chocolate, semi-sweet chocolate and more.
The sweetest of all the chocolates is white chocolate. Actually white chocolate is not a chocolate because is does not contain chocolate liquor or any other cocoa products. Its name comes from the cocoa butter it contains. But the recipient of your chocolate gift won’t really care that much about the technicalities.
A different type of treat might be to give Gianduja Chocolate. This is a European style chocolate made from chocolate and nut paste. The paste is usually hazelnut or almond.
Chocolate candy can be mixed with so many other food items like coconut, raspberries, nuts, marshmallows, raisins and more to make it even tastier.
If you need a gift for someone that you don’t know very well then chocolate candy is a perfect gift. You don’t have to know their clothing size, their favorite color, their reading preference, etc. To really impress your recipient include some gourmet chocolate.
Even if someone is on a diet they will usually enjoy just a taste of chocolate after each meal. Actually some diets recommend this to satisfy sweet cravings.
To make your recipient feel even better about their gift you might want to include a note with some of the health benefits of chocolate.
Chocolate has a generous helping of antioxidants called polyphenols. These antioxidants can help your heart by keeping LDL cholesterol from becoming oxidized, which can cause harm to your arteries. A Finland study showed that the polyphenols in dark chocolate may be even better because they also raise your good cholesterol levels.
And, an Italian study suggests that dark chocolate may also lower blood pressure. The reason is the flavonoids that abound in dark chocolate.
Now one can find dark chocolate treats mixed with coconut, nuts and other delicacies to lighten the taste of dark chocolate.
Eating something chocolaty and delicious will cause your mind to pay you back by being happy and attentive.
Chocolate has been igniting passion for centuries. Long ago people used to drink chocolate in liquid form as a sweet aphrodisiac. Chocolate Liquor is the dark brown liquid that is created from the process of grinding the roasted cocoa beans.
Legend has it that Casanova always had some chocolate before meeting with ladies. So, does this mean you want to give chocolate as a gift or, have some yourself! Or, maybe both!
All said and done, chocolate candy (especially good quality chocolate) is a delightful gift any time of the year and for almost any occasion.
Can’t think of a nice gift for that special someone? Think Chocolate Candy!
